Paid Media Manager

Job Description

 

We’re looking for someone who has a deep understanding and love for all things related to paid media. The Paid Media Manager will create and execute paid media plans (SEM, social, performance display, and retargeting), and evaluate ad performance to best amplify our clients’ messaging, services and products. This person is a natural with numbers, but can also present to a client, and believes that data, compelling creative, and a good strategy all belong together.

 

Responsibilities include:

  • Direction/management of various Paid Media clients, including handling client deliverables, reporting strategies, communications and processes
  • Explain and present to clients our monthly deliverables, as well as troubleshooting client needs, alongside our account executives and project managers
  • Contribute to and help hold the media team accountable to regular department benchmarks and goals
  • Aid in recruitment and hiring processes for growing the Paid Media department
  • Aid in development of new business pitches and the rare RFP
  • Develop, implement, optimize and manage Buzzshift’s own paid media strategy
  • Create weekly and monthly media plan for each of our clients
  • Manage, monitor, audit and reconcile marketing spend and media buys on a regular basis
  • Partner with Creative, Insights/Analytics, and development teammates to coordinate assets and deliverables for campaigns
  • Explore paid media opportunities with prospective partners including handling all negotiations, contracts, set up tasks and relationship management

 
What we are looking for:

  • Minimum three years’ digital marketing experience at a reputable advertising agency, media company, or brand, preferably with the company accreditation of Google Adwords Partner and/or Google Analytics Certified Partner
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media, and conversion optimization
  • Experience in strategizing, developing, executing, optimizing and measuring all forms of paid media/direct response marketing (i.e. SEM, Display, Mobile, Social, Content Discovery Networks, YouTube)
  • Expertise in Google Adwords and Google Tag Manager, with a preference for being certified by Google in all five of their Adwords certification courses.
  • Expertise in navigating and pulling insights out of Google Analytics platform
  • Expertise in the creation of marketing media plans
  • Management experience of multi-million cross-channel budgets, navigation of various industry media platforms and tools such as Omniture, Kissmetrics, and others
  • High proficiency with executive level presentations/reporting
  • Willingness and ability to be hands-on in executing programs including getting deep into data analysis while balancing multiple priorities and brands
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing required or equivalent work experience

What we are looking for:

  • Must have experience coordinating teamwork across multiple disciplines or organizations and be adept at building consensus across organizational and functional lines as well as skilled in presenting ideas
  • Must have extensive experience with managing client expectations and communicating effectively with senior management
  • Strong experience or understanding of digital marketing, design, web development, copywriting, and social media. Paid media experience and Google Analytics certification a plus.

Job Description

BuzzShift, a Digital Strategy Firm, is currently seeking a college student or college graduate to shadow and be trained by our Creative Team.

 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting the Creative Team in designing assets for clients
  • Working with the Social Media team to brainstorm and create engaging social media content

 

Applicants must have excellent organization and communication skills and be able to handle multiple tasks. A design or communications degree is preferred, as graphic design skils are key to this position. We are looking for a task-oriented individual willing to learn from a growing startup and to wear multiple hats within the organization.
