Recharging Air Conditioners One Vehicle at a Time

DIY A/C Recharge Kit producer A/C Pro needed to educate customers about its product and help them gain the confidence to DIY. YouTube was a popular platform for its customers, but their videos were poor quality and didn’t lend themselves to advertising. After researching the best how-to car videos out there, we made a list of the current videos that needed to be remade, and the new videos we needed to create. In 16 weeks for less than $50K, we created 18 new videos which we performance tested as YouTube ads.

SOLUTION


We divided the potential audience by age, gender, parental status and intent, and developed six segments: People Researching A/C Repair Shops, College Kids, DIYers, People on Auto Forums, People Looking to Save Money on Repairs, and General Awareness. We adjusted spend and focus throughout the summer.
